About the fund - Pavlo Sushko Charitable foundation

We were united by the call of our hearts - to be useful for Ukraine.

Since the early days of the war, we, people of different age, social status and profession, volunteers have united for the sake of helping those who are in a difficult life situation.

Aim of the Charitable Foundation

To create conditions for the barrier-free development, rehabilitation and implementation of the rights of children with special needs in Ukraine. Everything should be done to make every child with special needs feel protected and needed. The families need to know that they are not alone with their problems.

Mission of the Pavlo Sushko Charitable foundation

We work to help, protect, and support the most vulnerable ones - primarily children with special needs and their families.

Our activity

Today, we are a united team of the humanitarian headquaters on help to vulnerable categories of people of Kharkiv city and the region.

We study the best international practices in the field of ensuring the rights of children with special needs.

We study the best practices of creation of the barrier-free space for them to live fully.

We initiate and implement the relevant legislative changes into Ukrainian legislation.

Upon individual requests we contribute to provision with necessary medicines and technical means of rehabilitation of children with special needs.

We help to solve individual specific problematic issues of families of children with special needs, who seek help. We provide people, who suffer from the war, in Kharkiv region with humanitarian assistance.

Since the first days of the cadence as the people's deputy, Pavlo Sushko has been defending the interests and rights of children at the parliamentary level. He is the author of many relevant laws and the initiator of relevant government regulations concerning children. On the international arena, he studies the experience of foreign countries with regard to special education of children with disabilities. At the level of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, he is a Rapporteur on “Online education and special education needs of children with disabilities and learning difficulties”.

Since the end of 2019, he is a chair of the “Slobozhanshchyna” Inter-factional association of peoples’ deputies, which includes almost 20 peoples deputies of Ukraine. Most of them come from Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. The purpose of this association is development of the region in various spheres of its life.
